Another update: GREAT NEWS! Main Space Shuttle contractor wants to fly two shuttle flights per year with new external fuel tank beginning in 2013. SpaceX won't begin cargo flights for 2 or more years and manned flights for 4 or more. Humiliation: being dependent on their schedule and paying them a hefty price to fly our astros for 4 years when we beat them in Moon Race - Russia. Two birds with one stone: we already told you in an update here that NASA is considering a new heavy-lifter/beyond earth-orbit explorer with a large external fuel tank.
